It's time to make this page a bit more serious. I am too old.
Roman Chýla was born in the hot summer of 4 July 1980 - in the communist Czechoslovakia, and the silent but laughing creature became me (who am I?). Professionally a librarian (but probably information specialist as well, if you want) now in Geneva as a fellow at CERN, but also continuing his PhD. studies at the Charles university. Interested in automated content analysis, automated language processing and electronic publishing systems. It is quite a fun!
This website contains some of the programs and texts I prepared in the course of my professional life and also serves as a working area for me, and students I was (past tense! hopefully) torturing with boring lectures. It also contains a lot of information on NCRE, but only available to registered users (if you don't know what it is, then you can safely ignore it).
Please use the contact form for personal messages (you may want to add your e-mail address ;-)).
