It's time to make this page a bit more serious. I am old enough.
Roman Chýla was born in the hot summer of 4 July 1980 - in the communist Czechoslovakia. Professionally a librarian (but information specialist and developer as well, if you want) now in Geneva as a fellow at CERN, but also finishing his PhD. studies at the Charles university. Interested in automated content analysis, automated language processing and electronic publishing systems. It is quite a fun!
This website contains some of the programs and texts I prepared in the course of my professional life and also serves as a working area for me, and students I was (past tense!) torturing with lectures on web technology and scientific communication. This site also contains a lot of information about NCRE (National Competitive Examination of United Nations), which I passed a few years back, but this info is accessible only to certain users (if you come here by chance, you can safely ignore it).
